Fixed the problem for me too. What is this file that i just pulled from my live site with blind faith. Are ther eant ramifications to not havving this dll in other areas (anyting i should be aware of?). Also what pointed you in the direction of that file?

Thanks for the hint. Nice when solutions come this easy.

The ChilKatDotNet.dll file is part of an email module I installed recently. Deleting the file fixes the FileManager problem, but breaks the email application. I've got a tech support request in to the developer, and will post back here when I hear more...

I had this issue a while back and if memory serves me correctly, the fix was as follows:

In the Bin directory create a folder called Chili and copy the ChilKatDotNet.dll into it. 

That fixed the issue and still let me use the email control.
