Hi, i need your help, because i'm pretty desperate now.

Last weekend i moved my sites (at this moment 2, one 3.03.04/dotnet 1.1 and one 4.03.05/dotnet 2) from one windows webserver 2003 / sqlexpress to another one withe the same configuration.

both the sites were working fine, till last wednesday. the 3.03.04 stopt working, while the  4.03.05 is working fine.

if i try to browse in IIS it gives me:

Error Installing DotNetNuke

Current Assembly Version: 03.03.04

ERROR: Could not connect to database specified in connectionString for SqlDataProvider

in a second try if gives me:

DotNetNuke Upgrade Error

The Assembly Version ( [ASSEMBLYVERSION] ) does not match the Database Version ( [DATABASEVERSION] )

ERROR: Could not connect to database.

Invalid connection.

especcialy the "Invalid connection" is bothering me.

trying to test it with Microsoft Data Link (udl)  returns me "invalid connection".

A connextion with SQL Server Management Studio Express works fine.

As far as i know i didn't change anything with my users or their privileges.

I'm sure it has something to do with my connection settings but i can't figure out what.

further info:

no firewall running

i didn't change my web.config (it worked fine for allmost a week!)

services are running (my  4.03.05 is running fine allthough in framework 2)

i do remember a microsoft update i installed of framework in the beginning of this week, i don't know wether this was framework 1 or 2 though.

Please, geve me a hint, or something, because browsing forums for 2 days makes your head looks squere!.
