I installed Dot Net Nuke 4.3.5 using Godaddy's Value Application. I had to create a virtual directory which I called "index". Right now the only way to get to my site is to type www.mysite.com/index... What is the best way to redirect all those who type in www.mysite.com to redirect to mysite.com/index. How can I make this my home page? Suggestions?

I tried creating a .htaccess file and doing a Redirect 301 which did not seem to work for me? Please advise.

Thanks,

BB

I also got a hosting on GoDaddy three days ago. I used their value Application to install DNN 4.3. You can find how to re-direct to your virtual directory in their web site. Click Here...

<script type="text/javascript" language="JavaScript">
window.location="http://www.coolexample.com/directory/";
</script>

Personally, I didn't like this value application thing for the following reasons.

First, I have no idea where it is installed therefore I can't access it using FTP or what ever.
Second, I couldn't find where the database is. How can i migrate my previous data to here?

It is just weired.

have fun...
