You can use different Web Sites on the same IIS, they do not share web.config

If you want to use different ASP.Net apps on the same web site, place each app in in own virtual directory. Pay attention, that web.config settings don't get inherited (I prefer to install multiple apps side by side instead of one in another.)

How do you make sure they don't get inherited?

I have virtual directories and they are taking the dnn web.config and using or merging them..

Help..and thanks
