I would like to install DotNetNuke to a port, other than 80.  Just changing my IIS port to a different one does not work.  Is there instructions on doing this somewhere.  I've search FAQ and the forum blogs.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

All that is involved is changing the port in IIS - but on top of that you may have to set the alias - e.g.

alias from www.mywebsite.com to ->  www.mywebsite.com:8888

let me know if thats the issue - I run multiple installs and multiple sites over several ports

At home I use dyndns and since I have 1 dynamic IP (but a very fiber fast connection) I use multiple ports with the same IP

good luck

Hi cdfornal,

i noticed that you said you run multiple sites using DNN. I need a solution for managing multiple sites which each have their own domain name, design and content. I would just install DNN once for each site using a seperate database each time. But i would like to manage the users for all sites from the one DB.

Have you done this before and can you give me some hints on how to get this setup.

Thanks,

AG
