Hi,

I am trying to install DOtNetnuke on server.

I Have installed Asp.Net 2.0.50727 framework. I am trying to Install DNN 4.3.

When I try to install DNN (Browsing the virtual directory created in IIS 6.0 which points to the directory where DotNetNuke 4.3_Intall.zip is extracted) I get "Server Application Unavailable" error and in the event log I get

"Failed to execute request because the App-Domain could not be created. Error: 0x80070002 The system cannot find the file specified. Event Id - 1088"

I have searched for this error and many have mentioned problem with permission settings. I tried most of them but couldnt get through the error.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

Hi Mario,

It happened to me before, have you checked whether NETWORK SERVICE is included in the permissions in IIS? Have you renamed release.config to web.config?
