Hi, I'm new to dnn.  I just installed 4.3.6 on my hosting server.  The installation went smoothly except that I had a web.config file higher up the folder tree, so I had to use some <clear/> commands in my dnn web.config file.  Now, having apparently installed it completely I loaded the initial dnn page.  In the middle section it gives an admin and host account w/ password.  When I try to login, though, it doesn't do anything.  What I mean is that it doesn't tell me invalid login, it just goes back to the main page, but with no additional tabs, and the upper right still says Login not Sign Out.

I'm having the same issue. Any ideas out there?

Thanks!

That info in the middle of the screen is telling you how to change your login info after you have logged in.

1) Press the login button located on the upper right corner of the page.

2) Use the default username and password that was shown to you in that middle section of the page.

Once logged in the page basically looks the same, but now you are logged in and can make changes to the page and the login information.

Hope that helps.

I don't believe that I am logged in.  Logging in with either default given NOTHING changes on the page.  I would expect it to not say "Login" any more in the top right corner and that next to the Home menu on the menu bar there would be additional items used for administrative purposes.  This is not the case, therefore I can't see where I would "make change to the page and the login information."

Am I missing something?
