I installed DNN to a hosted server and am unable to create folders. I need to be able to create folders especially from scripts in module uploads like House of Nuke. The hosting plan was created with our final URL mydomain.com but since we have to keep the old site up at another hosting service till the new one is ready we can only access it using a temporary URL: mydomain.com.anaxanet.com .

FilePermissions.aspx reports that all is ok except Folder Create for all directories.

ASP.NET Identity: ANAXASVR20\mydomain.com_web

ASPNIX tech support claims they have set file permissions, as we don't have access to this functionality from the Helm control panel. Howeve when we use the FileManager to create Add Folder I get this error:

"Request for the permission of type \'System.Security.Permissions.FileIOPermission, mscorlib, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089\' failed."

The tech seems to think it's a problem because I'm using a temporary URL and suggests "wait till you move your domain" but that doesn't work because we're building a new site to replace the old one and need to host it till we're done before we can move the real domain record.

Does anyone have any suggestions how we can get around this problem? I know they are hosting other DNN sites at this provider.

Thanks for any clues, hints or suggestions on how to diagnose this or even better, fix it!

Michael
