make sure, that you adopt both connection strings (content needs to be same as previous), comment out the SQL Express versions that are active by default and uncomment the SQL2000/2005 versions!

Hi,
I am not sure what to do..
I´ve tried again and again.. and it just will not upgrade the host.
I checked the web.config, The site runs normally, but not with the correct version.
the dotnetnuke.dll is the 4.37 version..

the site is runing on 4.03
help?

Amy - You will want to ensure that both of your connection strings are set correctly as it is a simple database communication error.

DMR - I have a few ideas for you.  One put up a app_offline.htm page to take the application offline, recopy all of your files to the web host, ensure that you are overwriting each one.  Ensure that you copied over the installation date key as well.  Then remove the app_offline.htm page and navigate to your site.  The update progress should be triggered right away.
