Ok, I might have found the record. There is a Lists record in the Tabs table that has a TabOrder or PortalID of -1 (I don't know exactly because I deleted the record without making a physical note of what the record contained). I deleted this record and now get a response that says An error has occurred.

This is the address text Could+not+find+file+'d%3a%5chosting%5cacitrek%5cApp_GlobalResources%5cLocales.xml'.&content=0. Any ideas?

I need help fast!

I ran into this after the upgrade to 4.04.0 as well.  I also deleted the offending rows.  Bad idea.  I'm past the original error, but now chasing down others as a result.  UPDATE the values DO NOT  delete the offending rows.

After deleting the offending row (TabName = Lists, -1 in either ParentID or PortalID, all other fields blank) and changing the values of the ParentID back to (Null) for TabNames = Host, Home, Search Results and Admin worked for me. There was already a Lists TabName in the group of records for ParentID = 7 so I did not need another Lists TabName. My error mentioned above was probably due to changing the (Null) in the ParentID for the above TabNames. This makes sense if the menu control is looking for all items with ParentID = (Null) to place on the menu. After changing the ParentID to 7 or whatever Parent the menu item should be grouped with there were no records with (Null), thus no top level menu items.  (just guessing)

After making the change I had to wait for the application to cycle before everything worked like it should.

I've since written this off as a botched upgrade and moved to a fresh install.  Thanks for the info/help.

Hello all,

Sadly, one can't search for upgrade related errors prior to upgrading.

I upgraded from 4.3.5 to 4.4.1 and have this error.

Wanted to see if anyone had had success before I punt.

Thanks,

Pat
