  Hello,

Does anyone have any recommendations for a good shared hosting provider? I am thinking a personal plan with 60-100USD annual, and DNN preinstalled.

For that type of price, I'm not aware of any good DNN hosts.

You have to keep in mind that hosting DNN is all together different from just hosting some simple html files. It is quite common that for the ammount that you mention, you can find hosting plans at either GoDaddy, WH4L, Websecurestore, SeekDotNet et al, however.. typically, those providers cramp their servers with sites, and also cramp their db servers with db.s. In general, if you are offered loads of bandwidth, disk size and db size for a low price, you will get what you pay for... (low quality of service, server outages, db lockups etc.).

Erik,

Do you host your website in the US or in Europe?

Hosting in Europe, on my own servers.. in fact, I offer hosting to third parties as well (both DNN portal hosting and DNN instance hosting)

[edit] I decided to get my own servers after some bad experiences with Dutch mainstream hosting companies. I found that the quality i wanted came at a very high price [/edit]
