On creating a new DNN 4.4.0 web app on XP sp2, VS.NET 2005 Pro SP1, javascript errors are generated (I have script debugging enabled, so all the errors appear in alert windows). This doesn't happen when using the older DNN 4.3.5 web app. I'd like to upgrade to DNN 4.4.0 but wonder if this has been tested under the latest Windows Update. The first specific error that I can trap inside VS.NET showed this code:

dnn.controls.initLabelEdit(dnn.dom.getById('dnn_ctr350_dnnTITLE_lblTitle'));

The error says: 'dnn' is undefined.

The install log list shown after pressing CTRL-F5 was also unusual short - don't know if this has to do with the errors I'm getting.

Anyone has bumped into this also? Any workaround? TIA

I have also many javascript errors like 'dnn' is undefined.

One of them:

function __dnn_SectionMaxMin(oBtn, sContentID)

 { var oContent = dnn.dom.getById(sContentID); //error in this line

My system is: Win XP SP2, VS WEB Express Edition, SQL EXPRESS
