Hello,

We have a website based on dnn 4.03 and developed some new modules for it with VS2005.

Now I'd like to upgrade to 4.4, a first coarse try with a test database succeeded.
A new try with a database with some of our modules installed in it, works o.k. with dnn 4.03. Then upgrading that test site seems be o.k. (except the complain about double users).
But after opening the site (in testserver in VS2005) it keeps complaining about mappings to en-gb.resx files.
What do I do wrong? Is there any setting in the config that tells dnn to use other locals??

Hope someone can help.

Regards,

Peter

Got it working.

I threw the gb language out of the local.xml files in App_GlobalResources and did the upgrade again. Now it works o.k.

Somehow this GB language is in the local.xml file of the downloaded upgrade package. Why is this???

Well, whatever, I don't care for languages (on the site I mean).

Cheers,

Peter

Sorry, forgot that.

Also I forgot to save the errors. But fortunately I can reproduce it by placing back the old local xml files and start again. The first error occurred in the search module:
Line 102, Search.ascx.vb

the error here was:
System.InvalidOperationException was unhandled by user code
Message="Failed to map the path '/admin/Skins/App_LocalResources/Search.ascx.en-gb.resx'."
Source="System.Web" (won't bother you with stack trace).

Indeed these resource files don't exist. Well, and if I go on I get more of these errors all complaining about en-gb locales.

The only thing I don't understand is that I seem to be the only one with this problem? But o.k. it can be solved easily by removing all gb directions from the local xml files.

Cheers,

Peter
