I've been working on a DNN site and I haven't been too worried about it yet. But since installation I've had the JS error below. Everything works fine and I am unsure of what causing it, but every page ends with the "Done, but with errors on page" JS message in the status bar. Again, everything is working fine on the entire site, but I would like to elminate the error(s).

The error is the same for all pages:

Line: 11
Char: 2
Error: Object required
Code: 0
URL: http://www.dirtburners.org/Home/tabid/53/Default.aspx

The site can be viewed at http://www.dirtburners.org. Any help or ideas would be GREATLY appreciated, I have exhausted all possible theories and ideas at this point.

TIA

Try removing the modules (or moving them to another page, so you can move them back easily!) until the error goes away.  Then you know who to follow up with.

My money's on the "weather" module that you're using, since that's the only thing that's using a non-core .js file.

Thanks for the reply.

The strange thing is that it happens on pages without any modules as well (ie. http://www.dirtburners.org/Links/tabid/58/Default.aspx).

Which acutally makes we wonder if it might be in a header/footer or container. I have made some cosmetic changes in them but they have not gone under significant mods. It appears to be non-module specific so I suspect I should investigate the template files some more, but I have not found anything that seems to change the behavior.

Success.

Finally, after re-investigating the header template I found the problem was commenting-out some of the dnn controls not desired. I un-commented them and instead set them to invisible and that seems to have fixed the JS problem.

Thanks for the assistance.
