Hi.

I am new into DNN. We are hosting couple of sites for customers and the guy who managed this stopped working here so it's my task now.

So on one site version 7.0.0 i'm trying to change the header, but getting this error when clicking on Site Settings: http://imgur.com/lQy2oR8
I googled a bit but wasn't able to find a solution. I saw several similar problems which were refering to language settings but I think they're fine on mi site.

Any suggestions?

Check EventLog in the Database if the instance for propper error message.  Check physical permissions on your filesystem and be sure propper permissions are inherit to all files and subfolder.  Be sure .NET have execute permissions for scripts and executables.

Feel free to contact me for personal help via the messages System on this site.

Looks as anything went wrong on the install of the instance. Please delete files and Database and start from scratch.  Be sure you have unblock the zip file before you extract the files.

Also be sure you have set the proper permissions for your application pool user (write, change, execute, read) and for the iUser (Annonymous account).  Also you must have set execute permission for the Handlers to scripts and executeables.

Create Database and set proper database permissions, before you run the setup wizard. If it was a already running instance, check if the Settings are still proper.

Hope this helps.

Tested with complete full access on .net user / inet user / database. Still the same.

So if I want to start from scratch, how do I export the content since I have no "Host Settings" where the export option should be I guess?

I think the Site was previously updated from 4.8 to 7.0.0 and then to 7.0.2.
