I have a site that another person (who cannot be reached) has inserted a redirect into the site's response to force navigation to a different site. That is, the HTTP response header contains a Location parameter.

Where would I locate this code so that I can remove it from the response? Note that I cannot edit the home page because when I try and access it for editing it, it just redirects to the designated redirect site. As another clue, when I try and access the Admin > Site Settings page, it also causes the redirect to happen. But the other Admin options navigate properly.

Thanks!

you may check IIS website configuration and default.aspx, however there are other options like DNN website settings or any extensions.

Hi Terry
you can also check in any redirection rule added in the Admin> Site redirection management .

Thanks,

it could be in a number of places - I suggest using http://vyaskn.tripod.com/search_all_c... to search the database for the url of the site that is redirected to, and to FTP down a copy of the site and search through all the files for the same.

I had an extra URL added to the Portal Alias tables (I was playing around with languages) - that caused a nasty redirect - I had to delete it using SQL...
