Hi, for some time I have a problem when I'm trying to use some of the dnn modules.

When I'm trying to use Iframe module, the survey or blog module, I get an SQL error.

I've Windows 2003 server, SQL Server 2005, and this is the error I receive:

I've had both errors...  currently the SQL Server not allowing remote connections, which I'll try the above solution.  But the second issue: controls not having the same id - was related to module definitions.

The controls added for that module have "keys".  It seems the first key should be blank for the control you want to see first usually a "viewer".  Then you're edit control needs to have the key defined with a unique key name like "edit".

It seems the keys only have to be unique per module definition. So you could use "edit" as a key for another module, I don't know if this a rule - but it's worked for me.

There are better instructions to fix this are out there.
