Is there a way to force all dnn portals to show the under construction page?

Is it also possible to display the under construction page for only a specific portal in a multi portal installation?

Thanks!

I use the App_Offline.htm file in the root of my application to display an "under construction" message.

As for your second question, I'm not sure how that could be done.

ok, thanks. That does seem to do something, but I get:

if you want to display an "under construction" page for all portals of your installation, you can add "default.htm" as first document in web site/virtual directory IIS settings. afterwards create an default.htm page and place it temporarily in the root, whenever needed, you will be able to access your portal by appending /default.aspx to the domain name.

Another option is to have a special management domain pointing to the same installation directory, that is added as portal alias and used for yourself to access the portal. if you want to be under construction, just switch the original website to a directory, where the default.htm with "under construction" resides.
