I logged into the Admin account to be sure it worked fine. Then I changed the dbo.User Admin IsSuperUser to True and I could no longer log in anymore, when i changed it back to False, I was able to login again?  At this point, i'd be willing to try and run a script that would create a new Host account from scratch.

Which version of DNN are you using?

I just did this on my own site the other day and didn't have a problem....I used the following

UPDATE Users
SET IsSuperUser = 1
WHERE username = 'myUser'

I did have the right column name for username though.  (I'm not on my machine that has DNN on it right now...)

The only thing I can think of is that I did that to a "Normal" user, not an admin user.

I can try to write up a script that you could use to create a new account from the DB, but it will take me a bit of testing to get it working.

Let me know what version, I do have 3.5.1 installed at work so I might be able to take a look at that implementation as well, I'm more familiar with the database in 4.4.1
