Hi All,

Is there a way to disable admin and host login?  Or only allow admin or host login from localhost or a particulate portal alias?

AFAIK no, the best protection is a strong password.

If you want to disable the accounts all together you should be able to update the aspnet_membership table and set the IsApproved value to 0 and the IsLockedOut value to 1  That should stop all login ability.

Since DNN 3.3/4.3

For admin it is dnnadmin, for host it is dnnhost

Prior to those versions it was just admin and host, same as username.
