Hi I am unable to upload bigger files on my dnn 4.3.7 site. I keep on receiving an error that the file is too big to upload. I changed the maxRequestLength the web.config file to 61440 and it still doesn't work. So then I went and edited the same line in a few of the other config files and I still can't upload the files. Is there anything else I am missing? Isn't this the correct line to change? Thanks in advance!

Did you try changing it at the machine.config level?

Hi, I am trying to change it in the machine.config file, and there is no line of code like that to change the number. On our old asp.net 1.1 site there is a line of code like that but on our 2.0 site there isn't . Shouldn't it override it if I put it into the web.config file though?

Do you have the site setup as a website (in IIS) or as a virtual directory. If you have it setup as a website, you can edit the machine.config file from within IIS (go under properties of the website and click on the ASP.NET tab)...

I believe machine.config overrides web.config - ie you can set a lower limit in web.config but if you want to set a higher limit (higher than what's defined in machine.config) then it wouldn't work till you modify machine.config.
