Hi All... OK, I thought I did this right, but apparently I'm still missing something.

One of my portals wants to have a custom bit of text for when people register for the portal on the Private Registration page.  Right now it says "*Note: Membership to this portal is Private. Once your account information..." blah blah blah.  I need to change this whole paragraph.

I read that I would need to use the Language editor for the portal, using: admin->languages->language editor->local resources->admin->security->app_localresources->register.ascx

Then, going into the Private message, and change it... I thought that was it... but I guess I'm not done.  I also verified that it even wrote out a register.ascx.portal-#.resx under this same directory... which makes me think the changes have been made...

So, I'm flabbergasted as to why my custom Private Registration message still won't show?  I've made web.config subtle changes to reset the site... I've done an iisreset /restart... all to no avail.  Could someone please put me on the right path?

Thanks,
Mike

Pehu,

Do you know if changes to both items are necessary, or is it just the one that you found?

None of my changes in the resource file under Security/Register.ascx showed up, and when i made changes in Manageusers.ascx they showed immediatly. And now I have different texts on both places so I guess and hope that my changes in the one last place is enough.
