Hello,

I can not use the "Premium" feature for my old PA modules.

Actual situation: I'm using dnn 441 with many portals;
during past years I installed a lot of PA modules (developed by our company) using the manual module definition without assigning Portals for premium feature (that because I was Admin of all portals).

Actually when I check the "premium" feature and try to assign a sepcific Portal I get this message: "A Module must have a Version number in the form of ##.##.##" in the Version field  BUT that field is enabled false so I can not insert versione number!

What can I do?
is it possible to insert version number directly in Sql Server somewhere?

Thanks in advance

Luca

from memory I suggest to have a look into the DesktopModules table.

Leupold,
I'm using a method when i encounter problem with module installations and configurations but in this case i dont think it will work

Warning: Do not use this method without testing it. It may damage your content
First i install pa module to my localhost site
Secondly i upload Friendly Name Folder to remote portal's DesktopModules Directory
You ll end up with DesktopModules\FriendlyName
And module binary files to remote portal's bin directory
Then go to Host > Module Definitions > Create New Module
You can compare your localhost Module Definitions with the one you want to create. It will give you the option to specify Version number (which is needed to make a module premium)

Use at your own risk
