Let me explain my current configuration (which I realize is very odd); I have DNN 4.4.1 installed in a subdirectory of the ROOT and I have another instance of DNN 4.41 installed at the ROOT level.  The reason I ended up this way is because I tried to MOVE my subdirectory instance up one level and it broke so I decided I'd just do a clean install at the ROOT and transfer (using the painful manual method) my portals from the SUB to the ROOT.

Currently I have 2 portals in the ROOT instance and 2 portals in the SUB instance; they are all working as expected.  I created a new portal in the ROOT instance and was able to login as the site administrator.  I can edit, add and delete modules but I can't get to ANYTHING off of the Admin menu.  It throws a Runtime Error labeled "Server Error in '/admin' Application.".  The settings in IIS appear to be exactly the same as my 2 portals that are working correctly.

My hosting admins (which are usually pretty good) have come up with several "try this" things but none of them has worked.  Could someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks much,
