Hi,

How do I go about making changes/edits to the ACCOUNT LOGIN module?

- How can I remove the Question sign that appears there (as I have seen many sites without one)?
- Can I have it read Account Number instead of USER NAME?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

The easiest option for you would be to modify the admin/security/signin.ascx control. This will directly and immediately change the look of the signin control, but you will need to be careful when upgrading not to overwrite your changes.

An alternative approach would be to create a new module which replaces the signin functionality (ideally inheriting the existing signin functionality) and modifying to taste. This is a much more difficult approach, so I would reccomend going down this path only if you are a solid developer.

A final option would be to purchase a signin module. I'm not sure if the offerings out there meet your needs, but that's up to you to decide.

Enjoy!
