This is driving me up the wall and seems to be something recent in DNN.

I'm using 4.4.1 with FCKEditor. I mention the editor because it has been the suspect of the cause in another post.

Sometimes when I'm using DNN I get dumped back to the login screen and have to login again. I've tried this with a host, admin and registered user account. It doesn't always happen when I'm editing something so I'm not convinced that the FCKEditor is the cause.

The behaviour seems completely random and I'm having trouble finding any pattern.

What would cause this behaviour? Why would a piece of code strip the authentication ticket from a user?

I hope someone can shed some light on this because I'm most of the way through building a new application and will shortly invite a lot of people to become users/editors.

many thanks,

Steve
