Hello,

I've done a fair amount of searching and I have not found any information on this.  I'm using GoDaddy, DNN 4.4.1.  I have two distinct problems though related.

I set up a new DNN website at mysite.NET, during which period I left the old website of mysite.COM running.  Yesterday I changed the name servers so that the DNN is now .COM and forwarded the .NET to the new .COM address running DNN.  When I navigate through the browser to .COM, my DNN website pops up, but the address window still shows mysite.NET.  I'm guessing this is due to my portal alias still being .NET within DNN.  How do I change this?

Problem number two, emails used to work fine from the adminstrator account (I have private registration) all emails worked great from my personal email at a 3rd domain).  I read a ton of threads on administrator email changes, but I can't seem to find the Superuser account ("Administrator" by the page) configuration page that shows the relationship between "Administrator" and my old email.  I beleive I am missing something so mundane that we will all sit around and laugh at me later, but that's OK too :)  I would like to change the email to webmaster@mysite.COM but now it doesn't work at all.

Thanks in advance for all assistance,

Mac

log in as host user, goto host :: portals, select your portal, scroll down, add www.mysite.com as additional portal.

If you want to remove www.mysite.net, log into mysite.com as host user and remove the alias.

first make sure, emails work, check the smtp server setup in host settings.

second, make sure, host and admin have valid email addresses.
