Can I use the user registration process to sign people up for an optional, opt-in e-mail newsletter? Is there some way to make a check-box show up on the registration page, like "check this box to receive our periodic e-mail newsletter?" If not, what is the best DotNetNuke-friendly way to allow people to sign up for an e-mail newsletter without doing some sort of custom development? I'd like to take advantage of the built-in DNN functionality as much as possible.

Thanks,
John

this is already containted in the default portal template using the public security role "Subscribers", which people can assign/deassign themselves and that can be selected to send out newsletters from the admin menu.
