can dotnetnuke reference to class files/dll?

scenario: we have a blowfish decryption class/dll. a main portal throws the encrypted string to my portal after clicking my portal. this string is supposed to be decrypted by this set of dlls. can dotnetnuke do the job? where can i read about it? or better, please explain to me how to go about with this?

so there is still a way. 1 is to modify the core code (and I don't know where  to do it) and 2, to modify the friendlyurl provider to do the referencing and handle the decryption. I can understand this better. can you please expound just a little bit on this sir? Or please direct me to specific documentations to read?
