I've been working with DNN for the last few weeks to beef up our company's intranet and demoed it to our VPs today. Most of them loved it, but of course there are those that always want more.

What's being asked for is user customizable content similar to websphere or myYahoo. Basically, I was wondering if it's possible to create a user editable page so that users can have a my<fill in the site> section. I can turn on page editing for all users for certain pages, but it puts the editing bar up at the top and really detracts from the look and feel of the site for normal users.

Has anyone else ever done this?

i believe now (version 4.4.1) allows the host to setup portals with limits to the number of pages and users. maybe you can try setting a child portal for each user and limit them to 1 page and 1 user? i haven't tried this myself, so i'm just suggesting based on what i saw.

Warm Regards,
