Need some help here please....

Can't get site log statistics to display. In Host Settings, I entered "30" for days to keep, same in the Site settings. When I open Site Log a message displays cautioning that the "Your Hosting Provider Has Limited Your Portal To 30 Days Of Site Log History." The drop-down works, but no matter what report I select nothing displays. I've tried various values but still no reports.

Is there something else I need to do to enable this feature?

Thanks.

You must also set this on the 'Site Settings/Advanced' page as well for each one of your portals.

Yes, I double-checked that, Admin site log settings are same as Host. And, the warning message displayed is not the one saying that the site log "has not been enabled." It says "the administrator has limited the site log to 30 days." (I've also tried changing the the days value in both Host and Admin settings but that doesn't help).

Any other ideas?

Thanks.

I've got the same problem. On two different DNN sites (1 hosted 1 on my own server) Both 4.4.1 version. I enabled the site log in the host menu+admin and putted on 120 days. When I try to get a repport then nothing happens (I do not get the message that the site log is disabled So that is not the problem) after selecting a report and filling in the start and end date .  When I go look at the sitelog table in the database then there are no records :-( . When I changed the host settings for the site log I also restarted the application.  I also have a DNN 4.0.1 which work well (at least for the site log :-) ) Does anyone have an idea what goes wrong ? I looked in the log viewer but no logging there about something not working correctly (the site log has been enabled a few weeks ago so normally there should be records in the sitelog table)

Firstly, I don't believe there is anything out of the ordinary about the message that you are receiving, it is just letting you know the period of time for which a log is being kept.

Although it seems a silly question i have to ask: have you taken time to allow activity to happen on the site before you run the reports -- is there a possibility that there just isn't any data to retrieve yet?
