How do I change the fields on the Register page?  I'd like to add fields to this page.  Also, how do I change the "Register" text that appears when you're not logged in, to something different?
Thanks,

Ron

So, I'm confused.  Does this mean by not getting a response here on forum mean that changing the "Register" text link cannot be done?

you can change texts per portal using the laguage editor inside Admin :: Languages menu item (per portal) or Host :: Languages (for all portals). you cannot edit the fields on the register page, but on the profile page, use the "manage profile" link inside the Admin :: User Accounts menu item.

Precisely what parameter within the "Languages" can I edit to change the "Register" link to something like, "Become a Member"?  I've looked all through those settings and cannot find what you're referring to?  Also, just to confirm, you're saying that I cannot change the fields on the Register page itself.  True?  I'd like to add more required fields on the Register page, such as address (location) information, phone number, etc...  When someone becomes a registered user of my site, I need them to submit more information than simply their name and a username/password.  Hope this makes sense.  Thanks for your help!

Can you create a custom registration process based around the CreateUserWizard and a ContentTemplate?

If so how would you go about tying this in so that the membership and profile records were created correctly?
