I finally got logged in...Anyhow, I'm trying to edit the Links module.  The help file says

  1. Add a Links module, or go to an existing Links module.
  2. Click Add Link.
  3. At Title, enter the title for the link. ...
Well how do I "go" to the links module, I see it (in edit or read mode) but I cannot find anything that gives me a Add Link option.  Also, the online help says "
  1. Add a Links module, or go to an existing Links module.
  2. Select Add Link from the module menu.

I got that from here http://www.dotnetnuke.com/About/DotNetNukeOnlineHelp/tabid/787/TID/963/cid/24/Default.aspx

Where is the module menu?

Sorry to ask such dense questions but some of the help needs a translator.

If you have the default containers setup on your site in the upper left of the container you should find an arrow/triangle, mouse over that and you should get a module menu.

The module menu (settings, import export, refresh, etc) for the link module does not include anything about adding or removing a link (yet the help files suggest I should see something obvious).  Or I am looking in the wrong location.  Also, I am using the online trail version so I am not sure that has anything to do with it.

Any ideas?

Well I was already in edit mode and nothing worked, I toggled the "Design" icon and I'm not sure if there is a relationship but now I see an "Add Link" in the module menu.  There is no way to delete the existing links though.

I want to believe that the problems I am experiencing have to do with the trial online version that I am using and that the software is more user friendly.

Double check that you do not have the Preview enabled while logged on on as Admin or Host.  The icon should look like a magnifying glass, if not click on it to toggle back to edit mode.   At the bottom of the link module you should have a pencil icon followed by a "Add Link" link.    The Add Link should also be the first item on the Module Menu mentioned by the other posters.

Hope this helps.
Paul.
