I have DNN 4.0.1 and am using one of the default skins (DNN Blue - Horizontal Menu).  I want to stay with this skin, but I want to change the background from white to black.

I tried to use the Style Sheet Editor to do this, but regardless of how I updated the settings, the colors did not change.  Can changes be made to the background color using the default skins?

Perhaps I'm not using the correct syntax... what is the correct snytax to make the background black (000000)?  Here are the default settings:

/* PAGE BACKGROUND */
/* background color for the header at the top of the page  */
.HeadBg {
}

/* background color for the content part of the pages */
Body
{
}

Any advice is appreciated.  Thanks

I don't have a solution for you, but I am also experiencing this. This is my first day using DNN though. When I figure it out I will come back and post another reply.

Well I read somehwere in the online help that page specific settings will override the site css settings. In my case I have no skin specified on the site or pages and the following code in css file:

/* background color for the content part of the pages */
Body
{
  background-color: #bdcf0a;
}

The background for the content part of the pages is not the color I am setting too.

I appreciate you researching the issue. It's good to know that I'm not doing something wrong and that it just can't be done using that skin. I'll just have to shop around for a skin that gets as close to what I want as possible. Thanks again.
