Some time ago I altered the strings associated to my 'login' link.  Thus, everytime people click the 'login' link it takes them to the url or http://mywebsite.com instead of http://www.mywebsite.com.  Thus, my SSL certificates fail due to the url not being the one registered.  Where do I change this setting?  I thought it was in an .ascx file somewhere....

The only thing that pops into my head is that you need to make sure that www.mywebsite.com is listed as an alias for the portal.  It should work OK as long as it is.

When you purchase an SSL you purchase it for specified url's.  The URL it's set for is www.mywebsite.com.  If you access the SSL via mywebsite.com the SSL cert will show an 'invalid' cert error..........  So, when I click the 'log off' link it need to void be sent to the url mywebsite.com for the SSL will fail.

I figured it out.  I'm using a SSL module and I had the wrong alias listed?!  I'm an idiot.
