Hi,

I have a client that has around 20 different departments, so they are wanting a seperate portal for each department.  The problem is that they want the search to work across many different portals.  Is there anyone else out there that has done this kind of thing?  Or what would be the best way to go about doin something like this, from what i have gathered the search only searches within the current portal.  Would i just create a custom module that would search the content in the search tables within dnn database? or is there a way to specify in the search settings that could force this to happen?

Thanks,
Andrew
