everything has been working ok but now all of a sudden i cannot edit any of my text modules on teh site - none of them give the edit text option - they just give the following:

import content

export content

syndicate

help online help

settings etc...

no sign of the edit text option that used to be there - any clues?

You need to make sure you are in edit and not view mode and then toggle the design button and the edit text menu item will reappear. I'm assuming you're running dnn 4.5 or 4.5.1.

Also, observe that the default editor provider has changed. Consider how you did the upgrade, and what web.config file you have now. Perhaps you are not using the correct editor provider?

The DNN core team should consider making a "whats new" page. I know all the stuff is in the documentation as well, but it would help everyone if there was a short and quick introduction to the differences between last release and the current one. On the website.

:-)
