Since DNN version 4.4.0, I'm having issues with mirrored modules when host caching is turned on. Currently I'm using DNN version 4.5.1 on XP Professional with SQL Server Express. I've posted this issue in an earlier thread (See http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Forums/tabid/795/forumid/108/threadid/116484/scope/posts/Default.aspx), but not more than one or two other people seemed to have the same problem, so I wonder if there's simply something wrong with my DNN config. So if some of you could please try the following and then report if you can reproduce this issue:

  1. Set  "Performance Setting" (in "Host / Host settings / Advanced settings / Performance Settings") to anything else but  "No Caching"
  2. Open a page (let's call it page A), and add a new module (let's call it M.a) in the content pane. I tried this with Text/HTML, Links and Events module, so I think it's not module-dependent.
  3. Open another page (page B) and add the existing module M.a from page A to the right pane of page B. Let's call the mirrored module M.b
  4. M.b will be added correctly, but M.a on page A will also be moved - to the right pane of A!
  5. Try to move M.a back to the content pane of A: won't work! Instead, M.b will be moved to page B's content pane!

Setting "Authenticated Cacheability" to "NoCache" didn't help. After setting "Performance Setting" to "No Caching", the above procedure worked.

I reproduced this behaviour since version 4.4.0, but not in 4.3.6.

I'd like to hear some comments of others before reporting this to the bug tracker. Thanks!
