Hi, I've been trolling this forum for an answer to my dilema, but have found nothing usefull as of yet. I'm running DNN 4.5.1 on SQL server 2005. whenever I try and search, nothing happens, The search results page is shown, but other than that nothing. no results whatsoever. I tried it all, my site has been indexed, re-indexed, automatically indexed by the index shceduler every 30 mins, I even used a sql script to completely whipe all the search tables in the database and re-indexed my site, nothing. I've searched for words that are in my db in the searchWord table, NOTHING! I've allowed print and dissalowed print, Nothing! What does it search for anyway? Keywords? Descriptions? Is there anything I'm missing here? Any help would be most welcome.

I have a single installation with exactly the same problem. 1/2 dozen other installations work perfect, just this one. It's an upgrade from 3.x through 4.5.3. Only skipped a few upgrades along the way. Search has not worked right for quite some time. I'd love to see an answer for this.

Hi,

Just a thought, have you guys updated your XML module?

Read this article, it doesn't really answer any of our questions, but it does indicate that XML definately has something to do with the search functionality, so I suggest load the latest xml module and hope it helps
