Can anyone tell me how dnn references stylesheets.  I need to know becuase i normally make so many changes to the current stylesheets that when there is an upgrade it takes me for ever to repair the damage.

I want to keep all my styles separate.  Do i just drop a stylesheet in to a directory or is there another file pointing to them

Thanks

Normally it goes in order of:
module specifc css files (EG /DesktopModules/MyModule/module.css),
default.css (IE /Portals/_default/default.css),
the skin css (EG /Portals/_default/Skins/MySkin/skin.css),
css for any containers(EG /Portals/_default/Containers/MyContainer/container.css etc)
the portal css (IE /Portals/1/portal.css)

There's no need to mess with the core css files, because of the inheritance of CSS you can just override the core settings in your skin or portal css files.
