I am new to dotnetnuke.  Under page settings I have the option disabled with a check box.  I figured that what this does is it leaves it on the menu but does not allow users to click on it.  <== that is what I need it to do.  Currently it does nothing. Am I missing something?

I have an menu item that I want to show up on the menu so that the drop down will appear.  But I don't want the top level clickable.  How do I do this?

EXAMPLE: These are the pages I Have:

Ministries

---mens ministry

---boys ministry

---girls ministry

I have no content on the ministries page but I want it on the menu so that the three pages below that will show up on the drop down.  How do I do this?

Thank you very much,

Jeremy Palmer

Create top level page and disable it

create all child pages and select disabled top level page as parent.

Done.

In my example ministries page has the disable page checkbox checked.  I can still click on it.  Does this feature work?  what might cause it not to work?

it should work, like the root of admi and host menu. there have been versions, where the disabled items still showed up as links. DNn 4.5.2 doesn't.
