This also seems to be in 4.5.1

Could someone please confirm...

Page Settings > Add a user, not a role, with edit permission to the page.

Update Page

Go back in and look at settings, "All Users" now have edit permissions on the page.

It appears they really can't edit, but still!

Yes, i also see this with 4.5.2. This looks like the same as in 4.5.1 when you give one user view permissions in a folder. Everyone gets then view permissions.

Right, but not everyone really HAS these permissions, it just SHOWS that they have the permissions after this granular permission is granted.

But I think that could be very confusing, especially if you manage many portals!

It's not just that, how would I grant restricted view permissions if changing the state of the All Users perms has no impact?

can you please state:

  • are all sites upgraded from previous versions or is this happen on new installations as well?
  • if upgraded: have there been issues reported when executing the upgrade procedure?
