Is there a place to configure the time a user is logged out for inactivity?  I'm running into a problem where users go to some pages that are embedded in an IFrame, and if they stay there for too long (seems to be only 10-15 minutes) they are automatically logged out.  I'm not sure why they are being logged out to start with since they are still on the site and active, but if I can lengthen the time for logout it would help with this problem.

In looking around, this appears to be the third thread mentioning logout problems (http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Forums/tabid/795/forumid/107/threadid/137252/scope/posts/Default.aspx and http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Forums/tabid/795/forumid/108/threadid/137700/scope/posts/Default.aspx).  I'd still like to be able to set the logout time, but this appears to be an issue affecting others as well.

Try web.Config settings. <sessionState mode="InProc" timeout="1" /> Do some googeling on Session Timeout topic.

If it comes out that you will need a counter that will warn user and log them off try out our redriector module - www.continure.com

This is a bit of a cheap advertisement, but it is exactly what you need (and what I needed when I wrote it)...

This appears to be a bug.  If I log in as host or admin, everything is fine.  However, if I log in as a user, if I'm on the Home tab when I log in, as soon as I change tabs I'm logged out.  If I login on a tab other than Home, I can move to all other tabs without being logged out.  However, if I then go to the Home tab and select another tab, I'm logged out.

After playing with this some more, I discovered it is an issue with the free counter module from http://opensource.indyneinc.com/home/Products/FreeCounterXP/tabid/52/Default.aspx.  If that module is on a page, the logged in user will be logged out as soon as they leave the page with the counter on it.  It doesn't affect the admin or host account.
