Do i have to work on my live site.  Is there an easy way to work locally and then upload the files to live server.  What i mean is the database, becuase i am using sql server express with the management sudio.  In order to go live with a local version of my site i have to backup my database and upload it in to my db folder and then open a support ticket for technical support to restore it.

Now i am sure that technical support will do this a couple of times but propably not evey day.  Is there another method

My host use Helm control panel

thanks for any advice in advance

usually you work on your live site, as all the user data (visits, posts in forums, comments for blogs etc.) are stored in your database as well and will get overwritten, when you restore a database from local developement environment.
