Hi,

I'm running into a problem after having moved my DNN wite to my local machine.

In the production environment the DNN site sits at www.planet-winner.com.
I've move it to my local machine where it is accessible under localhost\dnnwinnerweb.
Added an HTTP alias on the production site pointing to localhost/dnnwinnerweb
Backed-up and restored the database locally, created a new virtual directory in IIS, set permissions etc....
All works fine when I go to localhost\dnnwinnerweb except that the images won't display.

When I look at the properties of the image frames they still point to
localhost/portals/0/image.jpg whereas they should look at localhost/dnnwinnerweb/portals/0/image.jpg

Anyone have any idea what I'm doing wrong ?

Many thanks

Dirk

You are not doing anything wrong. The reason is that the image paths are not expecting your virtual directory on your localhost.

To fix this you could publish the web directly into your wwwroot directory or you could setup another website in IIS and point to the dnnwinnerweb folder. I had the same problem although my images were broken on my web host. I had to export my content to MS Access and do a find and replace to remove my virtual dirtectory folder.

Hope this helps!
