Hello,

Logged in as the host account I set up a vendor under the host section of DNN. I am getting an error message ( You don't have permission to see the files on the site ) in two areas. On the edit vendor page next to thier logo and again on the edit banner page next to the image/link. Is this normal? I looked at the file system permission on the directories inside the Portals/_default/ directory and they look like they are set.

Any ideas?

Thanks

I was digging around in the bug database last night and found that this had been reported a couple times and there is still an open ticket on this issue. It is assigned but no notes or updates in a few months on the issue.

I have tried resetting my file permission on the file system to no avail... nothing seems to work. I am hoping that this problem goes away when I move the site to the production server.

I am having a couple more unrealated issues with DNN and if I can't find a resolution for them  in the next couple days I'm going to abort the idea of building my site on DNN and just write it from scratch. DNN is a remarkable framework but there are a few issues that are show stoppers for me. One being, I already have a prtotype of my site built and I cannot use much of the interface I have already written with DNN because it uses YUI and some tabless layouts that are not redering properly with DNN.
