Hi all,

Question:
Is it possible to make hidden roles? User roles that the system uses and can be applied to users but are hidden from view?

Reason:
I have a specific need to make about 170 roles (per chld portal) that are required by the way I intend to use someone's commercial module. I know I can put these in a "role group" for organizaitonal purposes, and this helps on the "Security Roles" page. Still, it seems a little clunky, especially when an admin is assigning roles to users - the Security Roles dropdown on the "Edit User Accounts" "Manage Roles for This User" page, for example.

Thanks,
Ari

no, there is no option to hide roles - and I recommend to rework the module concept as introducing 170 roles for a single module sounds like abusing the role concept.
