Is there anyway at all to give specific users permissions to edit modules - including changing settings - without giving them permissions to the entire page?  I'd like to allow my users to control certain modules on certain pages but I don't want them to have full access to the control panel.

Any creative ideas - or am i just missing something simple?

You can set the rights for a module in the settings for that module just like you can set the rights for a page...

I tried that but it only gave those users very limited access.  I'd like to be able to allow a user to add - or delete modules - change them anyway they'd like - but not change the page state or add new pages.....

AFAIK that's not possible with core DNN.

You could have a look at MyProfile by DNNFusion.

I agree that DNN Fusion My Profile is the most suitable solution. However, there's an alternative using the free TRT Control Panel (http://www.davebuckner.com/Default.aspx?tabid=56). By using this, you can grant the users permission to edit the whole page. Although they still see the control panel, you can hide the add and delete pages button from certain roles.

Hope this helps

P.S : it also has the ability to limit modules by roles. The only function missing is to let users create their pages manually. If anyone know how I can do that WITHOUT buying a 3rd party module, I'll be very appreciated.

Thanks
