Hi,

I changed the text (localization) of First Name and Last Name fields to make it very clear to people who are used to "Given name" and "Surname / Family name" etc.

In Admin >> User Settings, when I checked "  Require a Valid Profile for Registration" option, it was showing a long Registration page for a new user (the basic Registration info + extended profile info). THe First Name and Last Name are repeated in the first two blocks.

Is there any way to suppress First Name and Last Name in the second block or pre-fill it automatically as soon as the user enters values for these fields in the first block?

It appears the system is no longer thinking the First Name in the first block and the localized First Name in the second block are the same.

Any thoughts on addressing this issue, please?

Regards,

Hello

I am experiencing the same problem.  I needed one extra text field in the registration form, so I added the required Profile Property and then checked the "require a valid profile for Registration" box.  The First name and Last name are now repeated in the Registration form.

Is there any fix for this bug or is there a work around for adding an extra field in the registration form?

Thanks
Daryl

unfortunately not, except using a 3rd party registration module (e.g. from DataSprings).
