Hello all...

When I have a basic 3 column site (left, content, right) that uses the same two TEXT/HTML modules, one in the left pane for a logo, and one in the right pane for navigation, here's my problem:

1.  When creating new pages, I click add, etc., then choose "Copy From" and choose my Home page as the from page, and then select Reference for each of the two mentioned modules (logo and navigation -- both are text/html modules)........  When I later go back and make a change to the module on the Home page, the changes do NOT carry throughout the site.

Also

2. If I create the modules on the Home page, then set the module settings to "Show module on all pages," I get the same problem.  What I change on the Home page modules, if I need to make a change to either the Logo or the Navigation HTML I have provided, does not change for subsequent pages.

Argh!  Is this not the entire purpose of either "show module on all pages," or "Reference" when creating new pages.  Reference even uses "shared content" in its help description, as if to imply that you're actually intending to share the content itself between pages.

What am I missing?

I wonder if it's a caching issue?
